Rood Organics was founded out of a deep desire to understand health more holistically. We recognize that every aspect of well-being is interconnected, and Ayurvedic hair care is a vital component of this approach to both health and beauty.

My personal journey began in Haiti, where I experienced the challenges of caring for my thick, dry hair from an early age. Unfortunately, at around 6 to 7 years old, I underwent chemical treatments due to a lack of knowledge about proper hair care. For two decades, I endured the consequences of perming, which included severe hair damage and alopecia resulting from burns. My struggles intensified with medication and maternity, prompting me to take a proactive approach to my well-being after the birth of my child.

I transformed my kitchen into a creative space for experimenting with various ingredients—every vegetable, oil, and egg became part of my hair care recipes. This exploration led me to discover the profound wisdom of Ayurveda and Chinese Medicine, which significantly altered my perspective on hair care and overall health.

In August 2016, I made the bold decision to embrace a natural hair journey by shaving my head, and since 2018, I have dedicated myself to using Ayurvedic and Chinese herbal products. I firmly believe that achieving long, healthy hair is possible through the right routine and a deep understanding of individual hair needs.
